It's been a while
Hey...I guess it's been a while. I've been enjoying the world of facebook... I just wanted to say wuz up to everybody. College is fun as hell..it's hard too..lol. I love Harvard. I had hella midterms this week, but I'm glad they're over. I don't know when I'll be back in Houston though. I haven't been back since I left in September. I may not be able to go back for over another year though. Maybe I'll be able to drop through for a little bit this summer. I hope everybody does well. haha...the other day I almost went back to my old self when i almost wrote a poem..hmm, i think i might write it though. I'm not sure yet. I don't know if i wanna go down that path again...lol, i don't want to look into my heart. Anyway, detroit was A LOT of fun, and I'm happy I got to see so many of my friends there. I only have three more weeks of working my boring job...YAY! argh..there are people in my office now, so i can't just take thirty minute naps..very annoying. I'm off to school in less than a month. ok..so here we go: I saw The Wedding crashers...HILARIOUS! I *finally* saw Million Dollar Baby...VERY SAD! I'm going to Detroit in the morning...VERY EXCITING I think i'm gonna have a lot of fun in detroit, and do a lot of work since i'm working on a campaign. I'm really excited about seeing a lot of my old friends that i haven't seen in a while though. That'll be nice, of course. I'm finally starting to read INVISIBLE MAN even though i got the book over a year ago..lol. It's very good so far. I love you guys...well, anybody who bothers to read this..haha. peace. hey. my sister just told me she bought me a luggage set, so now i'm ready to go to school even more now. like right now. are we there yet?! no...:( anyway...I actually stayed at work today while i was in the file room; however, i fell asleep during a meeting/conference call..haha, it was cool though. LOL...we had a FIRE DRILL today at work..it was hilarious. I was just happy to get a break. This woman at work sells these AMAZING tea cakes and i bought a dozen...yummy. I can't wait to go to Detroit..i go in two weeks, and i know it's gonna be fun. I hope we win the elections. I'm going to the AFA choral concert tonight...AFA was fun when i did, so i'm sure they're having a good time. argh..i used to always fall asleep in AFA too. haha...i fell asleep in all my classes at school basically. man..i don't think i can ever stay awake. lol..well i better learn how before college...well..maybe not ;). I've been having fruit cravings more than usual latetly...boy do i love apples and pineapples and applesauce and cantaloupe. Anyway, i'm excited about going up to PVA in about a month (well a little less) and getting my yearbook. haha..it'll be great to go back as an alumn for the first time. haha...that's it. peace. oh man..i need help. I cannot stay awake at work for my life. Today when i got to work, i took a 30 minute nap. Then I took another 15 minute nap after lunch...lol. i don't know
Man..i was at work today, and I started thinking: "What if i made the wrong decision?" I mean, what if I really was supposed to major in music or something, and I'm making a mistake by going to Harvard. Like what if New England Conservatory might have been a better fit--or Berklee or Oberlin (you get my point). Anyway, I was just thinking about that, and got a little confused. But i THINK i'm making the right decision. But 4 years ago i was sooooooo set on doing music, and I just wonder if I'll still be into politics in 4 more years. Well I guess i won't know, and I'm going where i'm going for a reason. I'll just have to make the best of it. I'm ready to go to college now, but i get really scared sometimes. lol...I just hope i'm not one of the dumbest people there. lol..oh well if i am, i'll just have to work harder ;). peace. Ugh...I'm am ready to go to college NOW. I just hate doing something that i dont' love everyday. HSPVA spoiled me because everyday i got to go to school and do what i loved to do--sing. And I love other things besides singing (politics ;) ), but filing all day is NOT one of the things that i love and i just can't take it much longer. lol..anyway, enough of that. haha..I was just thinking about when i used to write poetry. Boy am I happy i stopped...i was way too mushy back then for my own taste...lol. I guess it was because i really liked somebody...haha, the things a good girl will make you do. bored
I'm sitting at work defragmenting computers and i'm bored...lol. oh yeah, GO SPURS!! Robert Horry is my hero. I loved him on the Rockets, and i love him again...haha. Father's day was cool, good food. Today's my little sister's birthday, and I took her to that P Diddy Celebrity basketball game yesterday. The whole time she wanted food, so we left early lol. Is it weird to do something with somebody who's like ten years older than you?..lol, anyway. uhh, oh yeah...I WANT TO GO TO COLLEGE NOW! I'm tired of just working the same boring job every day. I have been reading this interesting book though. It's called The Story of American Freedom. It's by Dr. Eric Foner who teaches at Columbia. I think going to Detroit is going to be the highlight of my summer, and I can't wait. I haven't gotten paid yet cuz i get paid once a month, so i guess i'm gonna have to reall budget for the next two weeks. So far i've been living off the graduation cash i got cuz i decided to put all the checks in the bank. So come July 1st i'll have some more money and i can start hanging out with people a little more and not always trying to find free stuff. Oh yeah, I think I'm going to go to the AFA JAzz combo thing at OVations this friday and prolly the orchestra concert this coming saturday, they usually do a nice job. I'm definitely gonna check out the choir concert and recital. AFA was a lot of fun, but i couldn't do it this year since i have to work. I've been meeting few people from Harvard on the facebook, and everybody i met so far is pretty chill, so that's nice to see. I think i'm gonna have a lot of fun in college. I'm doing this Pre Orientation program--Freshman Arts Program (FAP)--and i think it's gonna be really fun. So i get to go up a week before orientation and do PVA type stuff i guess, haha. So Instead of leaving on September 10, I'll be leaving September 4th :). But that's still a long time, and i know haven't really hung out with anybody this summer. If anybody wants to hang out just drop a message or IM me or call me or whatever. As many of you know, I prolly won't be coming to Houston much after this summer since my whole family is going to be in South Carolina (they're building the house right now!!). So please feel free to spend some time with me before you only get to see me on CNN and stuff like that ;)...lol..j/k. Oh yeah, if anyone want to play tennis let me know. I'm not really good or anything, but i can keep a game going..lol. And it's really fun. I know a free court that's usually open and i can play aroud 7 any day prolly. Peace. ok this is a new lil something...you pick somebody and post this lil paragraph on their last entry of their lj. It has to be anonymous. Then you ask 5 questions that you wouldn't dare to ask in person, but now you can because nobody knows it's you. But there are some rules for each question

(man you're really good) no but seriously i've been trying to get her for as long as I can remember and she still doesnt pay any attention to me. I also know 2 art guys who tried too, some other guys from theatre...but no luck. BUT HEY we're hot man, don't get me wrong. There's NOTHING wrong w/ us, or at least I hope so. No this is the first time I don't get what I want. She's HOT and foreign. But yeah here you come along and get her in no time. Maybe it's different from the outside looking in, but anyway, i think I just don't get attached that easily and when one thing ends I'm just ready for another to begin. But the key, I think (and I'm probably going to shoot myself for saying this), is that you've got to keep a lot of your stuff confidential until you're ready to go public. That way if you're testing out options, nothing will blow up in your face cuz nobody will know about anything. Believe me, when people find out about things, stuff gets messy. lol..i think i rambled on this one, but i hope it answers your question. :) 4.) lol, this was also a funny question. Uhh, I really don't know. She's a great girl, and I guess we just happened to like each other. I don't know how everything happened cuz it started off as a joke at first then got serious. Like i didn't intentionally try to get her to like me, and I didn't even like her at first myself. But somewhere between the jokes and serious we both started liking each other. Oh yeah, she was an angel. So you should prolly get some angels and some teams, too..lol. But being good at HT helps...;) (don't ask what HT is...if you figure out, you'll laugh though..haha) 5.)haha...no i do not. I'm not sure if i ever even "loved" her at all. what's the deal
Hey Hey Hey. My little sister's birthday is on monday so i'm taking her to the movies on saturday...sounds exciting..lol, i love her. anyway, i think i hurt my shoulder lifting weight, but i won't be lifting heavily again till Monday. I'll still be doing a little bit on the weekend and tomorrow, but hopefully i'm not sore any more by monday. Work is easy but boring, so i've started taking a book to read. Good reading though. I went on a date this past sunday and took the same girl out for pizza on tuesday and i'm taking her to this celebrity basketball thing this Sunday. We're not dating, but two friends who decided to go out on a date...lol. No seriously though, I've known her all my life and we've been friends forever. She's pretty though. Oh yeah, man, I was checkin out facebook and there are gonna be some FINE women at my college, haha, i can't wait for that. I've been working out. I get up at 6:30 every morning to run and i've been going to the gym and doing crunches and push ups. I'm getting in to shape and finally getting cut baby ;)! Anyway, I work 8-5 Monday through friday and it's boring as hell, but i'm getting a pay check. I'm going to Detroit to work on a political campaign for a few days in early August. I'm really excited and that's gonna be the peak of my summer. I'm always up to hang out with people. Let me know if you wanna do anything. Oh yeah, facebook is awesome.
